States and partners interested in linking their web banners from a online media buy to a landing page with the "Buckle up America. Every Trip. Every Time." message may use:
When the web banner is clicked, users will be taken to this website. The page includes a pre-loader with a calm city. As the content loads, muffled screams and growls begin to be heard. The sounds gradually build until a monster's eyes appear above the cityscape. Before the viewer can get a good look at the monster, the scene goes black. A new scene appears as a video camera is turned on to reveal a city street. The viewer's point of view is now through the lens of a shaky low quality image camera. A monster's shadow looms to view over. The camera moves forward as you hear screams. The scene ends with the camera being knocked out of the viewer's hand to the ground and the viewer is prompted to push "play movie." The social norming :30 second "Big Monster" Internet spot then plays on the camera.
This landing page is a great way to incorporate rich media into a media buy at a very low cost.
