I. Introduction

  1. We are going to talk today about transporting infants and toddlers
  2. I want to say right away that this issue raises a lot of questions
  3. And I don't have all the answers
  4. No one does at this time
  5. But I want to talk with you about what we do know and what we can do at this point
  6. We will also review our policy and procedures on transporting pre-school children and the use of child safety restraint systems
  7. Child safety restraint systems include portable and integrated child safety seats and safety restraint vests
    1. This workshop will focus on child safety seats. I will use the terms child safety restraint systems and child safety seats interchangeably
