Evaluation of Instructions 5 stars
The instruction manual storage location may be difficult to find. The manual cannot be accessed while the car seat is installed in this mode and the child is in the car seat. The section describing vehicle seat belt types is incomplete and may be missing important information.
Securing the Child 3 stars
The car seat did not arrive set for the smallest possible occupant. Harness slots in the pad and in the shell are misaligned or small. The harness must be rethreaded to adjust harness height as the child grows. There is no illustration on the car seat to depict how to convert the seat to this mode of use, and the user may need to read the manual to follow the required steps.
Installation Features 4 stars
The car seat is equipped with hook-style LATCH attachments which may require twisting to remove from the vehicle. The LATCH and/or tether storage area is not clearly labeled.
